With our lease ending, we decided to temporarily close with the possibility of continuing if we find the right suitable location. Q: What is a "JEVIC" odometer certificate and why do others not offer it?
"JEVIC" stands for "Japan Export Vehicle Inspection Center". Before exporting from Japan, we have our vehicles inspected and certified by "JEVIC" to be AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL MILEAGE. A certification seal is placed on the windscreen of the vehicle, and can be verified on their official website. This is a huge deal, because a tremendous amount of vehicles in Japan have swapped or tampered gauges that have unknown mileage. We have seen many dishonest importers in the USA advertise vehicles they know to be unknown mileage as original, or use sneaky wording to trick buyers. For this reason, we go the extra mile to have our vehicles inspected and certified for peace of mind.
