The Toyota Aristo (badged as the Lexus GS300 stateside) was a world class luxury car released by newly formed Lexus (Toyota in Japan). The sleek, timeless body lines of this beautiful car were sculpted by Italdesign Giugiaro, an Italian design company based in Moncalieri, Italy.
This Japan only Aristo model was equipped with the highly advanced 3.0 Liter Twin Turbo 2JZ-GTE engine, generating 275 HP (278PS). This was linked to a newly developed, electronically controlled, intelligent 4 speed A340E automatic transmission. This factory twin turbo setup was never available in the United States Lexus GS300. Most people refer to the 2JZ-GTE engine as the legendary A80 Toyota Supra engine, however it was first released in this JZS147 Toyota Aristo platform at the end of 1991. Despite being equipped with the engine first, the Aristo is commonly referred to as "the 4 door Supra". With the power, front engine rear wheel drive layout, and handling this car offers, it is easy to see why. This particular 1992 Toyota Aristo is in excellent condition with only 51k JEVIC certified original miles.
